Karnataka PG Common Entrance Test

I am planning to give the Karnataka PG Common Entrance Test (PGCET) and want to know details of this exam. Will you tell what eligibility criteria to apply for this PGCET Exam along with pattern so that I can prepare accordingly also provide Karnataka PGCET Important Dates?

Karnataka Examination Authority conducts Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) for admissions to MBA, MCA and M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses.

Eligibility Criteria

You must be from Karnataka and meet the domicile requirements as specified

You must have passed B.Tech/B.E or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates)

Candidates with valid GATE scores need not appear for Karnataka PGCET 2016 and will be given preference over the others during seat allotment

Karnataka PGCET 2016 Exam Pattern:

The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes.

The question paper will be in English

The question paper will be for 100 marks and consist of two parts

Part 1 will have 50 questions of 1 mark each

Part 2 will have 25 questions of 2 marks each
