The Andhra University Visakhapatnam will conduct the Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET -2016) for those candidates who want to take admission into various Science, Arts, Engineering and Law Courses offered in Campus Colleges of Andhra University (AU), Visakhapatnam, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University (BRAU), Srikakulam, P.G. Centres and Colleges affiliated to AU & BRAU

Courses offered

M.Sc., M.A., M.Com., M.H.R.M., M.J.M.C., M.L.ISc., M.P.Ed., M.Ed., M.Tech, M.Sc 5-Year Integrated Course in Geology and M.A. 5-Year Integrated course in Economics

5-Year Integrated Dual Degree Programmes B.Tech.+M.Tech/ M.B.A. Courses in CSSE, Computer Science & Networking, Civil, Mechanical, EEE, ECE, Chemical, Instrumentation Technology and Twining Programmes


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should possess a three-year Bachelor Degree of 10+2+3 or 12+3 or 11+1+3 pattern with minimum aggregate of 50% marks(For SC & ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks)

Exam Pattern
All interested and eligible candidates are instructed to go through the important highlights associated with AUCET 2016 exam pattern:
i. Total number of questions will be 100 and candidates will get 90 minutes to solve those questions
ii. Every question will contain four alternatives among which they need to mark the right answer
iii. Candidates are required to mark the appropriate answer of questions in OMR sheet only
iv. They are not allowed to mark the answer on the test booklet

Syllabus
AUCET paper consists of 90 questions, which are three parts.
Part A contains 40 questions
Part B contains 30 questions
Part C contains 20 questions
Each correct answer carries one mark while every wrong answer will have a deduction of 1/4 mark

Commencement of Submission of online Applications: 09th March 2016
Last Date for Submission of Online Applications: 16th April 2016
Last Date for Submission of Online Applications with Late Fee of Rs.1000/-: 25th April 2016
Upload of Complaints from the Candidates Regarding the Online Applications: 16th April to 27th April 2016
Downloading Hall-Tickets from Website: 30th April 2016
Commencement of Entrance Tests: 05th May 2016
Date of Publication of Results: 21st May 2016
