What is new grading system for class 9th please, provide me information regarding to CBSE grading system for class 9th?

The Central Board of Secondary Education started grading system for classes 9th and 10th

The grades are given as below:

1. A1 –> for 91 to 100 marks ( grade point is 10)
2. A2 –> for 81 to 90 marks ( grade point is 9)
3. B1 –> for 71 to 80 marks ( grade point is 8 )
4. B2 –> for 61 to 70 marks ( grade point is 7)
5. C1 –> for 51 to 60 marks ( grade point is 6)
6. C2 –> for 41 to 50 marks ( grade point is 5)
7. D –> for 33 to 40 marks ( grade point is 4)
8. E1 –> for 21 to 32 marks ( no grade point)
9. E2 –> for 00 to 20 marks ( no grade point)

Individual grades and grade points will be given for each subject.

Students will also get overall grade point for five subjects.

Overall grade point is called CGPA (cumulative grade point average)

Scholastic Evaluation
Formative Assessment :
Assessment which is carried throughout the year by the teacher formally and informally
It is diagnostic and remedial

Summative Assessment:
End of term or end of the year exams
Feedback on learning (assessment of learning) to teacher and parents

CBSE started Grading System for class 9th from year 2009 - 10 to make exams less stressful for students of class 9th. The CBSE follow the following grading system for 9th class:

91-100---------A1--------10.0
81-90 --------- A2---------9.0
71-80 --------- B1---------8.0
61-70 --------- B2---------7.0
51-60 --------- C1---------6.0
41-50 --------- C2---------5.0
33-40 --------- D---------- 4.0
21-32 --------- E1---------
20 and below----E2 --------

I am CBSE class 9th student and searching for detail about grading system and syllabus. Will you tell what the CBSE Grading System For Class 9th also tell Marks Distribution of Class 9 Maths Syllabus?

CBSE had introduced the grading system which is similar to the grading system of Cambridge International Exam.

CBSE Grading System For Class 9th

Marks Grade Points Grade

91 to 100 10 A1
81-90 9 A2
71 to 80 8 B1
61 to 70 7 B2
51 to 60 6 C1
41 to 50 5 C2
33 to 40 4 D
21 to 32 0 E1
< 20 0 E2

Marks Distribution of CBSE Class 9 Maths Syllabus

Units Unit Name Marks
I Number System 08
II Algebra 17
III Coordinate Geometry 04
IV Geometry 28
V Mensuration 13
VI Statistics & Probability 10
Total 80
