National Institute of Fashion Technology is a Public Institute . It was established in 1986 by Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Its head office is located in New Delhi,

A new NIFT Campus is situated in Ludhiana, Punjab .
As you want to do fashion design course from this Institute , So I want to tell you some info. for same :


Age Limit : 23 years as on year . The upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribe / Differently Abled Person .

Qualification :

Must have passed +2 level examination from recognized Central / State Board of Secondary Examination State Board New Delhi

General Certificate Education ( GCE ) Examination ( London / Cambridge / Sri – Lanka ) at the Advanced (A) level / International Baccalaureate ( IB ). or

Any Public School / Board / University Examination in India or in Foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities

A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects. or
3 or 4 years diploma recognized by State Board of Technical Education.
