All India MCA Common Entrance Test (AIMCET) is entrance examination conducted by IIT's for admission to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Program offered by IIT's & many leading Universities and Colleges.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate should be Indian National
Candidate must have done graduation in any stream with Mathematics as essential subject in 12th or in graduation.

Exam Pattern:
The entrance test comprised of the objective type questions.
It consists of 200 questions.
The duration of the examination will be 3 hours.
4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer
For every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
The entrance test covers the following sections:
Mathematics: 100 questions.
Computer Awareness: 40 questions.
Analytical ability/Logical Reasoning: 40 questions.
General Awareness: 20 questions.

Important Dates :-
Notification date : - January or February,
Last Date for Application form filling : - April 30th,
Issue of Admit Card :- From May 10th,
Date of Entrance Exam : 1st week of June,
Declaration of Results :- 30th June or 5th of July.
