NID Design Aptitude Test for GDPD is conducted by National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad for admission to 4 year under-graduate programme in Design. Important Dates Last date for submitting application forms Saturday, November 2, 2013 Issue of Hall Tickets 1st Week December 2013 (Tentative) NID Design Aptitude Test for GDPD Sunday, January 12, 2014 Studio Test, Personal Interview and Portfolio Presentation April 2014 (Tentative) Declaration of Result May 6, 2014 (Tentative) Eligibility Criteria Applicants must have passed or must be appearing for Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent like AISSCE/IB/ISC qualifying examinations. 20 years is the upper age limit for Applicants. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for Applicants under reserved categories. Exam Pattern The entrance exam usually consists of 2 phases: Phase I: Design Aptitude Test It tests students’ ability in design problem solving, observation and perception, environmental awareness, communication skills. The duration of the written exam is 3 hours and total marks are 100. Phase II: Studio Test, Personal Interview and Portfolio Presentation Studio test usually has 3 parts namely doodling, 3D modeling, and observation
