Hi I want to get admission in B.A (Hons) economics in Delhi University so provide me the admission details?

Delhi University invites application form for admissions to the 4-year Honours Degree courses at Faculty of Arts in the University of Delhi every year.

Eligibility for B.A (Hons) economics-

Pass in 10+2 of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or equivalent examination with qualifying marks in Mathematics in Class 12.

However Physical Education, Home Science and Music in Class 12th will be considered in best of four as the academic subjects or elective subjects for only those candidates who are seeking admissions in theses three courses.
The average marks scored in 12th-
Category Percentage of marks
General - at least 60%
OBC - at least 54%
CW/PWD - at least 55%
SC/ST - passing in Class XII

Last Date of Applications - June 16, 2014

Application Fee-

Candidates belonging to General Category need to pay Rupees One Hundred only (Rs.100/-), if applying Online
Rs.50/- for SC/ST Category

If you want to applying offline then you have to pay Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only (Rs.150/-) for general category
Rs.70/- for SC/ST Category

As you that you want to take admission in the B.A. (Hons) Economics course of the Delhi University. The B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics shall be a three-year, full-time Honours Degree Course, to be taught in six semesters, viz., sem ester I, II, III, IV, V and VI.

Scheme of Grading Annual
Duration 3 Years

Eligibility:

The candidate who wants to take in this course should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10 +2) of CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent by the University of Delhi.

The candidate should have secured an aggregate of at least 60% marks in his/her XII class exam

There is 5% relaxation for SC, ST, CW and PC categories) in four papers including English and Mathematics.

Admission for B.A. (Hons) Business Economics (BBE):

Selection Process

I. Written Joint Entrance Test

The University of Delhi will hold a Joint Entrance Test for the three courses B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics, BBS an d BFIA. The applicants who want to take in this course must need to appear in this exam.

II. Final selection for the course

The final selection of all candidates shall be based on the score computed by giving equal weightage to the performance in Class XII examination and the performance in the joint entrance test.

The result declared shall comprise of the final score of the candidate and the rank secured by the candidate in the category to which the candidate belongs.

III. Counseling and admission of candidates for all courses
