I am going to take part in SSC exams, I am so confused about the test books, papers, notes, so please provide me online practice for history civics paper SSC that are free of cost.

As per your question let me tell you that the
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruiting individuals for posts in different Ministries and departments of the Government of India. It recruits individuals by conducting CGL (Combined Graduate Level) examination. The pattern of the CGL It has three parts

Part1

competitive exams with multiple choice questions.


part2
This examination is for those candidates that qualify the part1has three different papers, i.e.
Quantitative abilities,
English language and comprehension
Statistics.

part3
is for those
\Candidates who have qualified the previous part includes personal interview wherein an individual is judged by a panel and a skill test.


Paper pattern of Part1 examination :
Reasoning


questioned on are directions, analogy, ranking, classification, mirror images, etc. It is advised that candidates practice such problems before the CGL exam.

Quantitative Aptitude

. This section has questions on number systems, percentages, profit and loss, interests, probability, etc.

General English

The questions in this section are usually on topics such as grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, etc. It is not enough to just read English books and speak in English. To clear this section with good marks, candidates must read daily, learn new words everyday and work on their grammar.

General Awareness


The questions in this section are generally focused on general knowledge, important people and dates, books, awards, etc. The only way to prepare for this section is to watch and read national news daily, go through important dates and also the budget passed by the Government of India.


part2 paper pattern as follow:


Quantitative Abilities


Designed to test the number sense of each candidate, the multiple choice questions in this paper will focus on the ability to use numbers in the right manner. Primarily, the application of computation with respect to whole numbers, fractions and decimals will be tested.
Other questions will be based on percentage ratio and proportion, square roots, profit and interest, averages, discounts, partnership business, time and distance/work and mixture and allegation.
You will be tested on basic algebraic identities of school algebra as well as geometry and trigonometry.
There will be a section on bar diagrams and pie charts as well.

. English Language and Comprehension

The knowledge of the English language will be tested in this paper. These questions are designed to put applicants through the hoops when it comes to understanding English and answering basic types of spot error, fill in the blanks, synonym/antonym, idioms and phrases types of questions. Applicants will also have a comprehension section wherein they will have to answer questions pertaining to close passage and comprehension passage, shuffling of sentence parts/sentences in passage and conversion into direct and indirect narration. Furthermore, applicants will be tested on grammar with questions like active/passive voice of verbs, and improvement of sentences.

. Statistics

This paper is compulsory only for those hoping to apply for jobs like Investigator Grade-II, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation & Compiler in RGI. In this paper, applicants will be tested on specific segments like collection, classification and presentation of statistical data, measures of central tendency and dispersion, moments, skewness and kurtosis, correlation and regression, probability theory, sampling theory, random variable and probability distributions, statistical inferences, and more.

It is important to note that Paper 1 (Quantitative Abilities) will be based on 10th standard level, Paper 2 (English) will be based on 10+2 level while Paper 3 (Statistics) will test students at Graduation level.

1. You can refer some practice books and previous year question papers. And you can practice by yourself at your home. You just need to solve more and more sample and previous years’ question papers.
Or
You can join a coaching center to practice. They provide short tricks and methods to solve papers smartly and also provide sample questions

2. If you want to go for online practice sets, some of websites are available which provide online practice sets but they charge money for it or they asks for registration.
