Banaras Hindu University (BHU ) generally offers the admission in B.Ed through UET (Undergraduate Entrance test) which is conducted by BHU itself

Mode of Admission--
-Admissions are made through an Entrance Examination Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) generally conducted between May/June every year.
-Notification for the Entrance Examination will be generally released during February every year.

B.Ed./B.Ed(Special Education) - Physical sciences : Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics
B.Ed/B.Ed(Special Education) - Mathematics : Maths/ Statistics
B.Ed /B.Ed (Special Education) - Humanities and Social Sciences : History or AIHC and Arch./ Geography/ Economics/ Political Science/ Commerce/ Home Science

Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements for B.Ed course at BHU

- Must be Graduate under at least 10+2+3 pattern [including Shastri] with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in all the subjects in three years.
-The applicant must have at least one School subject at the graduation level.

Or

- Must have passed M.A./M.Sc./M.Com./Acharya with minimim 50% marks in the aggregate.
-The applicant must have at least one school subject at the graduation or post-graduation level.

The School subjects are
Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, History (or AIHC & Arch.), Geography, Political Science (or Civics), English, Science (Physics and/or Chemistry), Biology (Zoology and/or Botany), Home Science.

Admission to Foreign Nationals
-This course is open for Foreign Nationals as per the rules of the University.
-The inter-se merit among the applicants of various foreign nationals will be decided by the "Core Committee for Admissions of Foreign Nationals", which shall be deemed as final.
