Here I am giving you information about required eligibility to apply for IAS or other government public exams below.

IAS exam Eligibility Criteria:
You have to pass graduation in any discipline from a well recognized university.

Age limit:
OBC candidate age limit maximum: 33 years.
The candidate must be between 21-30 years of age.
SC/ST have 5 years of age relaxation.

Important dates:
Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2014
Notification Date : 17th May 2014
Last dates for Applications : 16th June 2014
Examination will be held on : 24th August 2014

Civil Services Main Exam 2014
Examination will be held on : 14th December 2014

IAS (Indian Administrative Service) is a Civil Services exam

IAS Examination is managed and organized by the Union public Service commission.

IAS Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should be an Indian nationality

Candidate must have Graduation degree

Medical and physically fit

Age limit:

21 to 30 years

State Public Service Commission exam

Every State Public Service Commission carries out a competitive examination every year for recruitment to the State Civil Services.

The categories of services to which candidates are selected through the SCS examination are as under:

(a) State Civil Services, Class-I (SCS)
(b) State Police Service, Class-I (SPS).
(c) Block Development Officer.
(d) Tehsildar/Talukadar/Asstt. Collector.
(e) Excise and Taxation Officer.
(f) Distt. Employment Officer.
(g) Distt. Treasury Officer.
(h) Distt Welfare Officer.
(i) Asstt Registrar Cooperative Societies.
(j) Distt. Food and Supplies Controller/Officer.
(k) Any other Class-I/Class-II service notified as per rules by the concerned State.

Eligibility:

Candidate must have graduation degree are eligible to take this examination.

Minimum age required is 21 years but the upper age limit may range between 28 to 35 years
