Eligibility Criteria (as on 01.01.2013)
Candidates, intending to appear for CWE should ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria
specified by IBPS before applying for the Common Written Examination (CWE):

Hello, as you asked for the prospectus, so I tell you that no prospectus had been issued by IBPS, so I am giving you the important details regarding the exam here.
Eligibility:
Age between 20 to 30, must has done the graduation and has 50% marks in graduation.

Reasoning syllabus and important topics:
Specialist Officer Syllabus of reasoning is one of the most important sections of any exam and also has 50 marks out of 200. It covers all logical reasoning questions which have forming judgments, conclusions from premises or facts. All questions in Reasoning “Syllabus for IBPS bank SO Exam” are based on Verbal Reasoning & Non Verbal Reasoning.

Logical Reasoning topics: Data Sufficiency , Syllogism , Input-Output , Coding-Decoding , Analogy , Blood Relation , Puzzle Test , Direction Sense , Logical Venn Diagrams , Alphabet & Alpha Numeric Sequence Test , Eligibility Test , Arrangements-Linear & Circular ,

Non Verbal Reasoning topics:- Series test, Analogy, Odd figures, Miscellaneous test.

English syllabus:
English Syllabus covers vocabulary means homonyms, synonyms, antonyms, sentence completion, word formation and the topic comprehension means deriving conclusion, theme detection, passage completion and the topic Rearrangement of passage, spelling, sentence and grammar means set of rules active passive voice, indirect direct speech and the topic General usage means phrases and idioms.

Aptitude syllabus:
This test is designed to measure how fast and accurate you are in dealing with numbers, such as computation, quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables and graphs.

General awareness syllabus:
Indian Economy, International Economy, UNO, Marketing, Awards & Honors Sports, Finance, Agriculture etc. History of Banking, current affairs of last 6 months, countries / currencies, Books & Their Authors, Banking Terms, RBI, Fiscal Monetary Policies etc.
