Will you please tell me how to apply for National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) Phd Scholarship to do PhD Maths???

National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) invites applications for the grant of scholarships to students for pursuing research for a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics

Eligibility:
-You must be motivated B.A./B.Sc./B.Tech. /B.E./M.A./M.Sc. degree holders or final year students of these degree courses.
- You must have a good academic record (1st Class or equivalent grade in all years from +2 level to the present. B.Sc (Honors) students with second class may also apply.

Scholarship Amount:
Successful candidates will be eligible to receive a scholarship amount of –

Rs. 16,000/- (Rs Sixteen thousand only) per month for the first and second year and Rs 18,000/- (Rs Eighteen thousands only) per month for subsequent years,
A contingency grant of Rs. 20,000/- (Rs. Twenty thousand only) per year and house rent allowance as per central government norms wherever applicable.

Selection Procedure:
-A written test will be held based on questions in topics normally covered in Master’s degree programmes in mathematics.
-The test will be for two and half hours.
-Selection will be made on the basis of a written test followed by interview of short- listed candidates.
-The written test will be held on last Week of January

Deadline:

The last date for the receipt of completed applications is Monday, December 9,2013.

The written test will be conducted at the following centres, divided into five separate zones:

Zone 1: Chandigarh, New Delhi
Zone 2: Allahabad, Indore, Jabalpur,Raipur
Zone 3: Goa, Mumbai, Pune, Vallabh Vidyanagar
Zone4: Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Kolkata, Ranchi, Shillong
Zone 5: Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad

How to Apply:

-Applications on plain paper should be made and sent along with a recent passport size photograph attached to each copy and a self-addressed envelope, affixed with a Rs.5/- postage stamp
-The envelope containing the application should be superscribed, “NBHM Ph. D. Scholarship”.
