Indira Gandhi National Open University under its School of Foreign Languages provides the courses related to the foreign languages

The School of Foreign Languages is affiliated to IGNOU University. The School works in collaboration with other Schools of the University in order to develop manpower for a number of sectors, like foreign language requirements for scientists, agricultural experts and trade specialists. It also offers programmes that is specific to the requirements of organizations like the Indian Navy.

The School of Foreign Languages is one of the 21 Schools of Studies at IGNOU, established in 2007.
