“The Model School scheme in the state of Andhra Pradesh in November 2008.

The scheme of model school aims to provide quality education to talented rural children by setting up of 6,000 model schools at block level at the rate of one school per block.

The model schools in the state are in the follo0eing districts-

Here are some of the details of the roster points at the school –

Reservations of the candidates may be made for appointments to a service, class or category in favour of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Women, Physically handicapped, Meritorious Sportsman, Ex-Servicemen and such other categories, as may be prescribed by the Government of the state from time to time,

(i) by direct recruitment, except where the Government by a General or special order made in this behalf, exempt such service, class or category of reservation;

(ii) otherwise than by direct recruitment the principle of reservation in the matter of promotion and appointment involving promotion in so far it relates to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
