How can girls join Indian Army and give me details about required eligibility for it ?? : As you said your Sister want to Join Indian Army , So here I am providing Information for same : Selection And Entry : The women were inducted only in the Armed Forces Medical Core till the year 1992. From July 1992 the Navy started inducting women as Short Service Commissioned officers in select branches of the Navy. Presently the women are inducted into the following branches of the Navy as Officers :- 1. ATC 2. Observer 3. Law 4. Logistics 5. Education 6. Naval Architecture The government has also given approval for Permanent Commission (PC) in Education, Law and Naval Architect branch on completion of SSC tenure depending upon merit and vacancy. Girls can join Indian army through Combined Defense Services Examination organized by union public service commission … Age-limits: 19-24 Years Indian Military Academy 19-22 Years Naval Academy 19-23 Years Air Force Academy 19-25 Years Officers’ Training Academy Educational Qualifications: IMA & OTA You have to pass a undergraduate Degree of a recognized University or equivalent…. Important dates Name of Examination: CDS Exam (I) 2014 Date of Notification: 02nd November 2013 Last date for receipt of applications: 02nd December 2013 Date of Commencement of Exam: 09th February 2014 Duration of Exam.: 01 Day CDS Exam (ii) 2014 Notification Date : 19th July 2014 Last dates for Applications : 18th August 2014 Examination will be held on : 26th October 2014
