Maths is a core subject in 12th for taking admission in MCA. Generally every college has its own eligibility for MCA. General are as follows: Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Indian.
Educational Qualification: 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of: 12th level with Mathematics
Bachelor’s degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized university with any of the subjects  (a) mathematics (b) statistics (c) business mathematics (d) discrete mathematics (e) mathematical foundations of computer science (f) business statistics (g) computational mathematics (h) elementary mathematics (i) elementary statistics . UNIVERSITY OF CALCUTTA:
(i) 60% marks in secondary (10th Standard) and Higher Secondary (10+2) standard (55% for SC,ST,OBC,PC)
ii) 60% marks in Mathematics for Higher Secondary level (55% for SC,ST,OBC,PC).
(iii) 55% in B.Sc Honours Graduate (50% for SC,ST,OBC,PC)
(iv) 55% in B.Sc Honours Graduate (50% for SC,ST,OBC,PC) with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Graduation.
or
60 % marks in Computer Application (Major) (55% for SC,ST,OBC,PC) passed under University of Calcutta having Mathematics as one of the pass subjects. NETAJI SUBHAS ENGINEERING COLLEGE:
Bchelor Degree in any discipline under (10+2+3) pattern with Mathematics as one of the
subjects in the Degree level or B.C.A/B.E/B.Tech Degree. DSMS BUSINESS SCHOOL:
Bachelor Degree from a recognized University in any discipline under (10+2+3) pattern with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the degree level with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination or B.C.A/B.E/B.Tech degree with at least 50% marks(45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.
