Yes you can apply for this exam but there are generally only 15% seats reserved for other states students

Eligibility Criteria:
You should be an Indian Origin.
You should have passed 12th class exam conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Government.
You need to have Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects at 12th
Your should have 17 years for admission in to this exam.
You should have 50% aggregate in your academics.

Yes, of course other state students can apply for EAMCET entrance exam.

The candidates must belong to the Andhra Pradesh state.
The candidates must be of Indian Nationality, Overseas Citizen of India – OCI (card holder) or person of India Origin (POI).

EAMCET is commonly known as Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test.

The EAMCET exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

The exam is conducted for the students seeking admission into under-graduate level professional courses offered by the University.


The candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination or its equivalent from a recognized board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology with minimum 45% marks for General or 40% marks

Exam pattern
The exam will be comprised in two papers, as one for engineering aspirants and other for agriculture and medical aspirants.

Both papers will be asked separately in 160 objective type questions of 3 hours duration. There is no clause for negative marking.

Each correct answer will be rewarded with one mark.

The examinations will be asked in two languages as English and Telugu.

19th Jan 2015

Availability of online application form –
On Feb 2015

Last date of submission of application form – On last Feb 2015

Last date of submission of application form with late fees –
On last March 2015

Availability of Hall ticket –
On April 2015

Date of EAMCET 2015 examination for engineering and agriculture & medical – 10th May 2015
