Admission in Anna University for BTECH

Will you please provide the detailed information about the Tamilnadu Engineering Admission Test conducted by Anna University ?

Anna University conducts the TNEA (Tamilnadu Engineering Admission Test) which is the admission procedure for the various courses in engineering in the colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility Criteria:
Aspirants must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
Aspirants must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths as compulsory subjects.
The marks of Class XI and XII will be taken together to shortlist and allot the seats.

Selection Procedure:
The selection will be based on the following factors
Date of Birth
Community wise Categorization
Percentage of marks in the 4th optional subject,
Percentage of marks in Mathematics and Physics

Tentative Dates:
Start sale of TNEA application form and prospectus: 1st Week May 2014
Last date for receipt of application: mid of May 2014

Kindly let me know the 2014 cut off for various courses. I have applied for
