As you want to get the syllabus of exam of sub inspector of police examination of Andhra Pradesh so here is the information of the same for you: A. Preliminary Test: The preliminary test is based on the running procedure like as: The participated candidate should run 5 kilometers within 25 seconds. The female candidates should run 2.5 kilometers within 16 seconds. B. Written Test: The written exam will be of objective type and the syllabus of the written test examination is mention below. The selection conditions in the written test are: For General Candidates: minimum 40% marks. For Backward class candidates: minimum 35% Marks. For SC/ST candidates: minimum 30% Marks Syllabus of the AP Police: The AP Police selects the candidates based on the three type of test: preliminaries test, written test, and physical fitness. Written test will contain 200 questions in 200 minutes. 1. GS (General Science) 2. CA (Current affairs) 3. PE (Policies and Economy) 4. HI (History of India) 5. INM (Indian National Movement) 6. GE (General English) 7. IG (Indian Geography) 8. AO (Arithmetic Operations) 9. R & MA (Test of Reasoning or Mental Ability) C. Physical Fitness: The candidates should be able in Long Jump, High Jump, 100 meter run, 400 meter run and Shot Put etc.

Andhra Pradesh police recruitment is based on the preliminaries test, written test followed by physical fitness. Andhra Pradesh Police Sub-Inspector Exam Syllabus details are given below…. Syllabus for Written Examination: Paper I: English (Degree Standard) The candidate’s understanding of the English language, its correct usage and his writing ability would be tested. Questions on short essay, comprehension, précis, letter writing, paragraph writing / report writing, translation from English to Telugu etc. would be included. Paper II: Telugu (Degree Standard) The candidate’s understanding of the Telugu language, its correct usage and his writing ability would be tested. Questions on short essay, comprehension, précis, letter writing, paragraph writing / report writing, translation from Telugu to English etc. would be included. Paper III: Arithmetic (SSC Standard) & Test of Reasoning / Mental Ability (200 Questions) Arithmetic: It will include questions on problems relating to number system, simple interest, compound interest, ratio & proportion, average, percentage, profit & loss, time & work, work & wages, time & distance, clocks & calendars, partnership, mensuration etc. Test of Reasoning: It will include questions of both verbal & non-verbal type and include question on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualisation, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory etc. Paper IV: General Studies (Degree Standard) (200 Questions) 1. General Science – contemporary developments in science and technology and their implications including matters of everyday observation and experience, contemporary issues relating to protection of environment as may be expected of a well educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific discipline. 2. Current events of national and international importance. 3. History of India – emphasis will be on broad general understanding of the subject in its social, economic, cultural and political aspects.
