Indian Administrative Service cut off

I want to give the exam of Indian Administrative Service so I want to get the details of cut off of previous years so can you provider me that?

As you want to get the details of cut off of previous years of exam of Indian Administrative Service so here is the information of the same for you:

In the year of 2012 the cut off was over 209 for open category candidates and 194 marks for OBC. For the SC & ST candidates cut off mark was 184.

So anyone who is confident of scoring 315 and more out of 400 are in the safe zone. The border line cases could be those scoring 310 and more and they need to keep their fingers crossed.

Those who are in the safe zone can start preparation for the main examination.

Well for Indian Administrative Service an exam is civil service eamination is conduted by u.p.s.c . Basically in this there are two papers one is prelliminary and the second is main.
As cut-off depends on many factors such as no of candidates, reservation. Level of difficulty and no. for posts.
Following was the cut-off for the last year 2014 preliminary :
Cutoff (Out of 400):
The cut off for General was 245.for OBC (Other Backward Classes) it was 226, SC ST (Scheduled Tribe) it was 208 (Scheduled Caste) ,for Orthopedically handicapped it was 201 Visually impaired , for Hearing impaired it was 172.

Exam pattern:
There are totally two paper :
!. preliminary.
1. general awareness
aptitude
2. main
There will be seven papers based on the esaay based.
