I want to give the exam of Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (Gen. Rectt.) of Uttar Pradesh so I want to get the details of eligibility fro a girl candidates so can you provide me that?

As you want to get the eligibility criteria for a girl of exam of Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (Gen. Rectt.) of Uttar Pradesh so here is the information of the same for you:

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.

The student should have taken Punjabi as one of compulsory or elective subjects in his/her Matriculation examination.

Age Limit for PCS Exam
# The applicant should not be below 21 years and not above 35 years.

# For Punjab Police Service the candidate should not be below 21 and should not be above 28 years.

# For SC/ST a relaxation of 5 years are given for Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) the candidate.

# For Physically Challenged applicants upper age limit is relaxable up to 45 years.

# For widows and Divorcees upper age limit is relaxable up to 40 years

Number of attempts for PCS Exam
The maximum number of attempt allowed for candidates to appear for exam will be four attempts and only three attempts are allowed for ex-servicemen category.

Kindly tell me the way to prepare for UP PSC Upper Subordinate Exam 2014.Also tell me about some books which I should buy for it.

The age limit is revised to 40 years. There is no attempt restriction. You should be eligible as per age limit criteria.
