As you have done your schooling with the 12th class in the commerce subject than there are many courses that you can do, details of some of them are as follows – You can choose the option of graduation and professional accountancy courses like Chartered Accountancy (CA), Cost And Works Accountancy (CWA) or Company Secretary (CS). The traditional courses of B.Com, also the B.Com course with vocational courses like Taxation, Computer applications can help you, Students can also apply to the B. Com (Banking & Insurance) and B.Com (Accounting & Finance) and they can also apply for Bachelor's in Business Studies/ Administration, BMS, BMM You can opt for the five year integrated Law degree course, or the three or four-year Hotel Management degree course. Firstly I would like to inform you that there are numerous courses which you can choose after completing 12th in commerce stream with mathematics. Some of the most popular career option which a commerce student selects are: CA Chartered Accountancy is the most reputed and hard course in the commerce section. If you really love accounts and financial things, you should opt for this. Else do not touch it. Do not go for it if your parents is forcing or any other fellow is telling. It takes lot of time and patience to complete this course. After some time you may feel bored. CA has 3 exams to complete in order to get the degree and some small trainings between them. If you can do it then opt in. Else better to go for other options. Remember, every career option is equally rewarding. BMS Bachelor in Management Studies. This is simply a short version of MBA! You can do MBA after this degree. B.Com You can do this course after 12th while simultaneously start doing CA. This is the basic course which every commerce student opt for. You can do the Masters level of this course after successfully completing this course. CS Company Secretary is also one option if you like law and other similar subjects. CS is also hard similar to CA. If you can handle then good else read on. B.Com (AF) Accounting & Finance specialization is the more professional course that you can opt. This course is full of accounting and financial law stuff. You can do this easily. You can also do good job after graduations or simply do other courses which will expand your knowledge as well as the salary! B.Sc (IT) If you are a maths students, then definately you can go for this course. This course is very good and has rewarding career options in future. This is a specialization in Information Technology. If you can study hard and understands the concepts of computers very well, this is for you! Only maths marks is necessary while admission. Actuarial Science AS is very demanding and rarely known course! This course needs maths in your 12th STD with 85 marks! Then you can do this course. This study is related to insurance and predicting the related things via maths and statistics! So this is the toughest thing. If you can do it then go for it. Toughest than CA also. But once you are passed, you may land up in big shot company playing with lakhs of rupees per month! Some Other Career Options are: LAW Lawyers inform and advise clients about their legal rights and suggest course of action in a particular matter. Some of the areas of specialization are corporation law, civil law, criminal law, international law, labour law, patent law, tax law and so on. After HSC you can consider the option of a 5 year course, available at most universities. DEFENCE The field of defense consists of army, navy and air force for which one needs to go through National Defence Academy (NDA). In order to get admission to the NDA, the candidate has to appear for a competitive exam conducted by the UPSC, which is held in February and also in September. The course of training is for 3 three years and there are two courses starting every year in the months of January and July. TEACHING Teaching is one of the noblest of professions. Teachers help shape the lives of young children and are influential in developing a child’s personality. After HSC you can either consider the option of D.ED or early childhood care ( ECC.Ed). other options would include teach course in art and craft teacher , physical education teaching and so forth. BACHELOR OF SOCIAL WORK (BSW) Social workers are concerned with helping people deal with problems and crises such as discrimination, unemployment, poverty, illness, addiction, abuse and so forth. They work in the individual, family as well as the community setup and help rally the community to cope with an individual’s, family’s or community’s problems. One can pursue a three course in the same.
