What will be the expected Pay Scale of Assistant Professor?????? As per Revised AICTE Pay Scales, Persons entering the teaching profession in Universities and Colleges shall be designated as Assistant Professors and shall be placed in the Pay Band of Rs.15600 - 39100 with AGP of Rs,6000. | Salary increments for a fresh Assistant Professor with PhD
At present, how many increments will a fresh Assistant Professor with PhD at an NIT get? Please don't explain in terms of 3-tier or 4-tier structure. We know the number of increments for an Mtech is two and for a PhD is five according to the AICTE pay scale regulation 2010. But, I heard in some old NITs seven increments has been given to an Assistant Professor with PhD. I need a proper supporting document.

An an MBA with above 60% marks completed in 1989-91 with 16 years Industry experience in higher level managerial positions and 6 years in Academics and then qualified in UGC-NET in 2012. What would be my Pay Scales as per UGC Norms with the above qualifications? Give in detail.
