Is CTET exam conducted one or twice in a year???? Please give me its exam date too?? Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam is conducted one time in a year, The exam is usually held every year in the months of Aug/Sept for all the candidates. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education for short listing candidates eligible in the post of Primary School Teachers and Secondary School Teachers. Eligibility: Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: The Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: The Candidates should have completed graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Paper Pattern: Questions in CTET test will be Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking. There will be two papers of CTET. Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII Application Fee: Paper - I or Paper - II: Rs 600 (General/OBC), Rs 300 (SC/ST/Diff. Abled) Paper - I & II: Rs 1000 (General/OBC), Rs 500 (SC/ST/Diff. Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi conducts Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII CTET exam is conducted one time in a year and this year exam was conducted on February 16, 2014 and scores were released in March 2014.
