What are the Marks needed to apply for IISER admission in BS-MS Dual Degree Programme as a state board student??

IISERs provide high quality scientific education, research and training, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India has set up five Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) at Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram

It is a five year dual degree program for bright and motivated science students who have passed class XII.

Tentative Schedule for BS-MS IISER Admission 2015
Event Date (2015)
Opening of application portal for JEE/KVPY/SCB stream 1st June
Last date for application for JEE/KVPY stream 27th June
Last date for application for SCB stream 4th July
Result - Publishing of allocation list of JEE/KVPY channel 29th June
Last date for payment of Admission fees for JEE/KVPY stream 10th July
IISER SCB aptitude test 12th July
Result/Allocation of SCB stream 15th July
Last date of payment of Admission fees for SCB stream 22nd July
Course commences 3rd Aug

BS-MS Dual Degree Programme ---

It is a five year dual degree programme for bright and motivated science students who have completed class XII.

Admission to BS-MS Dual Degree Programme 2014

You will be admitted to the Five Year BS-MS Dual Degree programme beginning August 2014 through the following channels

State and Central Boards:
Students passed class XII in 2013 or appearing in 2014 in science stream with either Marks above or equal to the cut-off percentage declared by DST as eligibility for INSPIRE fellowship.
For OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/PD category candidates, there is a 5% relaxation in the DST cut-off. The cut-off for SC/ST candidates is 55% in class XII for all boards

-Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Basic Science Stream:
Students qualifying in SA (2012)/SX (2013)/SB (2013)

-Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2014:
Students obtaining a minimum of 60% marks in class XII and securing a place in the Rank List of Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2014 for the admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs)

Intake through different channels--

-Up to 25% seats in each category (General/SC/ST/OBC Non-creamy) through KVPY channel.
-Up to 50% seats in each category (General/SC/ST/OBC Non-creamy) from KVPY + JEE (Advanced) channels.
-Remaining seats in each category through State and Central Boards channel based on an Aptitude Test conducted by IISERs.
