Will you please tell me how can I apply for Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Job for the post of Sub-Inspector position??

Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) for several other posts including Sub-Inspector position in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) through preliminary and main examinations.

Procedure to apply for Combined Graduate Level Examination
- Go through the application instructions and eligibility norms.
-Candidates seeking reservation should ensure that their category is listed in the list of reserved categories in Central List and they have proper documentary proof for the same.
-The OBC candidates filling the SSC Combined Graduate Level Application Form should ensure that their Certificate bears proper Date as per the conventions.
-Only those candidates will be considered VISUALLY HANDICAPPED who have a visual disability of 40%.
-The Civilian Employees of Central Govt. who are claiming Age Relaxation have to produce a Certificate in prescribed format

Important Dates for SSC CGL Exam 2014:
18th January 2014: Starting date of Online Application form
24th February 2014: Last date for Registration
27th April & 04th May 2014: Exam date for SSC CGL Tier-I
30th August & 31st August 2014: Exam date for SSC CGL Tier-II

Eligibility
-You must be in the age group of 20 to 25 years as on the first of January of the year
-Upper age relaxation is applicable for reserved category according to the rules of government of India.
- You must be degree holders from a recognized university
-In addition to age and educational qualification requirements, you will also have to fulfill certain physical standards like height of 157.5 cms and chest size of 81 cms, fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.

Fee Details for Application Form:
Application fee is Rs. 100/-.
FEMALE Applicants and candidates of SC, ST, Ex – Servicemen and Physically Handicapped categories don’t have to pay any fee.

Exam pattern

Preliminary examination will have questions under following categories:

English Comprehension
Numerical Aptitude
General Awareness
General Intelligence and reasoning ability

While main examination will have questions to test following areas:
Arithmetic ability
Statistics
English comprehension skills

Application in CBI:
Candidate who want to work in CBI need to fill the application form of SSC CGL which invite the application to work in various departments of the government
A candidate has to pass through 5 stages to get a job in CBI. These stages are as under-
