Public section undertaking which is government controlled companies or industries. Public sector Unit examination is an All-India Examination like NTPC, NHPC, DRDO, BEL, BHEL, BSNL, SAIL & other Examinations. Following are the advantage of job in PSUs:

Unlimited Facilities
Healthy Lifestyle
Strong Saving Sense

This is the list of PSUs:


Qualification required:
The applicant should have completed B.E/B.Tech/B.sc, Final year students are also eligible to apply but they are needed to show the result up to 8th semester at the time of interview. Generally Minimum cut-off percentage is 60-70% for general category students and 50-60% for reserved category students.

Public Sector Units PSUs are government-owned corporations or state-owned enterprises created by the Government of India

PSUs under the aegis of Government of India regularly provide tremendous employment opportunities in various technical and management areas.

PSUs Eligibility

The Eligibility criteria for PSUs vary from company to company.

Companies with their Eligibility criteria for Management trainee / Engineer / Engineering Graduates / Executive Trainees-

HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited )-

Graduate in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Electrical/ Production/ Computer Science/ Metallurgy/ Aeronautic Branches of Engineering from any recognized University with minimum 65% marks and 55% marks for SC/ST in aggregate

Engineering Graduates in the Aeronautical Branch with minimum aggregate 60% marks and 50% for SC/ST


For SC/ST/Physically Challenged categories (Visually Handicapped / Hearing Handicapped / Orthopaedically Handicapped ) -

Full time degree course in Engineering in the disciplines of Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics / Telecommunication from recognized University and should be in the Third Year are eligible to apply for the exam.

HPCL Recruitment of Officer Trainees- Engineering Disciplines

Full time Graduates in Engineering / Technology in Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical and Electronics & Telecommunications Discipline from a recognised University

Max Age Limit -

SC/ST: 30 years
OBC: 28 years

Minimum 50% in aggregate for SC/ST candidates and 60% for OBC Candidates in the qualifying examination a

Those candidates, who will be appearing for their Final Year Examination can also apply.

Written Test/ Interview:

Candidates have to appear for Written Test (objective type consisting of two parts – General Aptitude and Academic Knowledge).
