Yes you are eligible to apply for NATA exams before 12th board while studying in 12th class

NATA 2014 Eligibility :
You have to passed 12th grade exam with physics , mathematics and chemistry subjects with minimum 50% marks in 10+2 and students of 12th class can also apply for NATA ..

Age limit :
your age should be minimum 17 years .

National Aptitude Test in Architecture – NATA conducts to measures the aptitude of the applicant for study Architecture field study.

Yes, Any candidate eligible for NATA Exam Before 12th Boards exam.

Eligibility :

Candidate passed SSC ( Std X ) or equivalent examination and above can appear for NATA.

Admission to B.Arch course given only the candidates who have qualified an aptitude test in architecture and have secured at least 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

NATA Exam Date 2015 (tentative):

NATA exam shall be conducted in two phases :

Phase – I
from 2nd week of March, 2015 to last week of May, 2015

Phase – II
from 1st week of June, 2015 to last week of August, 2015

NATA 2015 Paper Pattern:-

The test is in two parts.

• PART 01: Paper based drawing test and computer based online aesthetic sensitivity test.
• PART 02: Drawing Test This is a two hour paper where candidate has to attempt three questions.

Drawing aptitude is judged on the following aspects-
• Ability to sketch a given object proportionately and rendering the same in visually appealing manner.
• Visualising and drawing the effects of light on the object and shadows cast on surroundings.
• Sense of perspective drawing.
• Combining and composing given three dimensional elements to form a building or structural form.
• Creating interesting two dimensional composition using given shapes and forms.
• Creating visual harmony using colours in given composition.
• Understanding of scale and proportions.
• Drawing from memory through pencil sketch on themes from day to day experiences.

Aesthetic Sensitivity Test
This is computer based test where candidates have to answer multiple choice questions. The aesthetic sensitivity test measures perception, imagination, observation, creativity and communication along with architectural awareness and comprises of-

• Visualising three dimensional objects from two dimensional drawings.
• Visualising different sides of three dimensional objects.
• Identifying commonly used materials and objects based on their textural qualities.
• Analytical reasoning.
• Mental Ability.
• Imaginative comprehension and expression.
• Architectural awareness.
