The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducts the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination.

All eligible and interested applicants can apply online through the official website of UPSC & fill up application before the last date 20th January 2014.
When you fill your form then you click on submits and after you take your print out of the application form for the future identification.

Follow these steps for filling online application form of NDA 1

Step 1:- Part 1 Registration
After successfully registration of Part 1 , you will get a application ID or Registration ID and then follow step 2

Step 2:- Part 2 Registrations
After completion of both part registration save application form PDF which is generated and also keep save application id and password for further use.

Important Dates:-
Starting date of filling application forms is 21-12-2013

Last date of fill application form is 20-01-2014

UPSC NDA exam is scheduled on 20th April 2014

The examination of the NDA (National Defence Academy) is conducted by Union Public Service Commission-UPSC twice in a year to recruit the candidates in Army, Navy & Air Force wings of National Defence Academy.

NDA Exam eligibility-

For Army wing of National Defence Academy:

12th Class or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy:

12th Class or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in 12th Class or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Only the Unmarried Male Candidates born not earlier than 2nd January,1996 and not later than 1st January ,1999 are eligible.

Sex: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Physical Standards:

Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I).

A candidate must be either be a
(i) a citizen of India , or
(ii). a subject of Bhutan, or
(iii). a subject of Nepal, or
(iv). a Tibetan refugee who came ovbet ot India before the 01 January , 1962 with the intention of spermanently settling in India, or
(v). a Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakisthan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countires of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawim Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will not, however, be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjetcs of Nepal.

NDA NA Exam (I) 2015

Date of notification: December 27, 2014
Last date for application: January 23, 2015
Date of exam: April 19, 2015

NDA NA Exam (II) 2015

Date of notification: June 20, 2015
Last date for application: July 17, 2015
Date of exam: September 27, 2015

NDA Exam Paper pattern:

The written exam consists of two papers:

Paper I- Mathematics: 300
Paper II- General Ability Test: 600

The General Ability Test consists of:

Part A- English: 200
Part B- General Knowledge: 400

All the question papers are objective (multiple choice) type.
There will be negative marking for every wrong answer.
The candidates are supposed to use black ball pens only.
Paper I - Mathematics and Part B of Paper II question papers are available in both English and Hindi.
SI units will be used in the papers and candidates should use only international form of Indian numerals (i.e. 1, 2, 3,4,5,6 etc.) while answering question papers.
