IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.
The exam is Civil Service Exams & conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year.

If you are in the final year degree also can be eligible for the Appearing to the Preliminary Examination, but before taking participate in Mains exam its need your Final degree mark sheet.

Here is the Detailed IAS Eligibility Criteria:

Age
The applicants age in between 21-30 years on 1st August of the year of Examination.

Education:
The applicant should have a degree in Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent.

The Candidates appearing at their engineering degree or equivalent examination are also eligible to compete.

No physical fitness is required for IAS.

Only for IPS physical fitness is required.

Every year UPSC will conduct exam for IAS and IPS.

You are eligible to apply for the IAS exam. But you need to produce your result at the time of the interview. So go for it.

Here, I am giving you detail about the IAS exam.

Indian Administrative Services (IAS) Examination conducts by union public Service Commission.


Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:

A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came over to Indian before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age:

Age should be between the 21 year to 30 year, relaxation given to reserved candidate.

Education:

candidate have done graduation from recognized university, students are in final year or waiting for the result may also eligible to apply but they need to produce all results at the time of interview.

Exam pattern: exam for IAS performs in two sections. one is preliminary and second is mains exam.

Preliminary Exam also has two papers

Paper I: in this section question comes from current events, history of India and Indian national movement, Indian and World Geography, Indian Policy and governance, Economic and social development, environmental ecology, biodiversity, climate change and general science.To qualify minimum marks should be 30.

Paper II: in this section question comes comprehension, interpersonal skills, communication, logical reasoning, analytical ability, decision making, problem solving, basic numeracy, data interpretation, English language comprehension skills and mental ability.To qualify minimum marks should be 70.
Mains:

Paper I: Essay
Paper II, III, IV, V General Studies with new topics (250 marks for each paper)
Papers VI,VII Any one subject (having 2 papers) to be selected from the prescribed optional subjects (250 marks for each paper)

Final stage to become IAS is interview.
