Default Re: M.Pharma or MBA which is better

M.Pharm is master degree in Pharmacy field whereas MBA focus on management of Pharmaceutical Industry. Any graduate can go for MBA but only Bachelors of Pharmacy can join M.Pharm. Both the courses are 2 years integrated course after B.Pharm and have their own scopes.

The choice of course depends on your interest of the field. If you are interested in the Pharmaceutical field and want to continue the same field, then you should go for M.Pharm. After M.Pharm you can also go for PHD in Pharmacy for a better career scope.

Career options after M.Pharm:
Regulatory Manager
Clinical Research
Data Manager
Product manager,
Teaching and research & development positions
Quality Assurance Health Manager
Analytical Chemist of Quality Control Manager

Opportunities for you for example you can be appointed in the research and development division of any reputed company or you may be able to fetch a very good job in pharmaceutical industries which can not only offer you a very satisfactory amount of salary but also you would be able to work in the field of your choice.

MBA: There is a specialization in MBA in Pharmacy where you get a combination of Pharmacy and Business Management. MBA has no charm left due to excess supply. Moreover, M.Pharm graduate can also manage industries (that’s what MBA does) but a MBA cannot do what an M.Pharm graduate can.
