As you are looking for the procedure to apply for jobs in Indian Railways, so you need to appear in Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) Examination

Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) is a competitive examination that is duly conducted under the supreme authorization of the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) for appointing the applicants under the Indian Railways in the mechanical department of the Indian Railways.

Selection Procedure:

UPSC is the authorization to recruit the applicants and the method that is most suitable is the written examination and selected applicants have to appear and clear the interview session

Age limit:
-You must have attained the age more than 17 years and less than the 21 years.
-Relaxation in the age will also be admissible for the applicants that belong to the reserved category.

Educational Qualification:
-You must be passed in the Intermediate or a comparable qualification with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
-You must hold degree in the graduation with mathematics and at least one subject should be physics or chemistry at the degree level.

Completed Application addressed to "Deputy Secretary (Establishment), Room No. 536-A, Rail Bhavan, Raisina Road, New Delhi-110001" on or before 17/02/2015.

Eligibility:
The applicant should have a Degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent;

10 years' experience in the State Judicial Service or in a superior post in legal department of a State;
(OR)

10 years' experience in legal affairs in the Central Government;

(OR)
Master's Degree in Law from a recognised University or equivalent with 8 years' experience in teaching or research in Law; (OR)

A qualified legal practitioner for 10 years
