I have done MCA. But I am interested in NET exam. Am I eligible for the exam? Yes, an MCA pass out candidate be eligible for UGC NET JRF Exam . As for appearing in UGC NET JRF Exam candidate should have a master degree in any discipline so MCA candidate is eligible for exam. Eligibility for UGC NET JRF Exam: Candidate should have a master degree in any discipline. Candidate should secure minimum of the 55% marks in master degree. University Grants Commission (UGC) organizes the National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The National Eligibility Test (NET) is the national level entrance examination in India for postgraduate candidates. The test is conducted for over 90 different disciplines. Yes you are eligible to apply for UGC NET. Eligibility: ===The minimum eligibility required is Master’s degree or any equivalent degree form any recognized university with at least 55% of marks and 50% for reserved candidates. === Final year candidates of Master’s degree can also apply for this. ===For Junior Research Fellowship not more that 28 years. ===For reservation candidates there is a relaxation up to 5 years. === For Lecturer ship there is no upper age limit. The examination fees of NET is Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through Challan form in SBI Bank. NET Exam Pattern: Session Number of Questions Marks First 60 100 1¼ Hours First 50 100 1¼ Hours Second 75 150 2½ Hours There are total 185 questions carrying 2 marks each.
