According to my knowledge IPS is a part of Civil Services, and its exams are conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility for IPS:

The candidate should have Graduation with any stream from recognized university.
The Candidates who have passed the final year of MBBS or any Medical Examination

Age limit:

A candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years.
For ST/SC candidate age limit is 21-35 year.

There are four stage of selection:

Prelims Written Exam
Mains Exam
Medical exam

Default Information about exam?

I had recently comleted my diploma in civil engg. I'm now studying in civil engg. 2nd year in pune. I want to become i.p.s. after copleting my engg. I'm not intrested in doing service in engg. Field. I want to doing preparation of this exam. Plz give me all information about exam and fees structure of ur institute?
