Default Re: BSNL JTO Job Exam for BE Graduates

BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) is the Telecommunication Company owned by Government. It conducts examination for the recruitment of JTO (Junior Telecom Officers).

Educational Qualifications:
You should have a degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech.) in IT/ CSE/ ECS/ Mechanical) with a minimum of 50% marks for this purpose.

Age Criteria:
The age of the applicant has to be of minimum of 21 years and maximum of 30years.
But this is relaxable in some cases. They are:
Government servants – up to 5 years
BSNL employees – up to 5 years
Applicants of the SC and ST tribes – up to 5 years
Applicants of the OBC category – up to 3 years
Applicants of the PH General Category – up to 10 years [SC/ST: 15 years and OBC: 13 years
Residents of J&K

Pay Structure:
The applicant will be getting the remuneration in between Rs.9850/- to Rs.14600/-.

Selection Procedure:
You will be selected on the basis of written examination.

Exam Pattern:

The examination will be of 3 hours duration depending on the stream
The pattern of examination will differ.


Syllabus for the Engineering Stream –

Section 1: Network Theory, Material and Components, Electronic Devices, Physical Electronics and ICs, Electromagnetic Theory, Power Electronics, Electronic Measurements and Instrumentation.

The syllabus for the Engineering Stream –
Section 2: Control Systems, Digital Electronic Circuits, Analog Electronic Circuits, Microwave Engineering, Microprocessors, Communication Systems, Computer Engineering.

The syllabus for General Ability Test –

Section 3: applicants will be tested for the English Skills on the basis of Comprehension and grammar exercise, everyday life, general awareness, Telecommunication, Geography as well as History.

Of course BE graduates applicants can apply for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited Junior Telecom Officer (JTO) exam, but right now BSNL does not publish any JTO exam notification when will publish then I’ll provide that, or other related details are as given below:

Junior Telecom Officer (JTO)

Education Qualification:
The Candidates should have completed their Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in Telecommunication, Electronics , Radio, Computer, Electrical, Information Technology, Instrumentation from a recognized university.

Age Limit:-
Must have age in below 30 years

Selection process:
Based on the performance in written test and interview

Exam pattern & syllabus:

BSNL JAO competitive exam will consist of two papers.

The questions asked in the exam is of objective type.

Paper-1 will be conducted for 150 marks in the duration of 3 hours.

Paper II will be conducted for 300 marks in the duration of 3 hours.

Totally two paper will be conducted for 450 marks.
