Here I am giving you some requirement to get admission in the B tech colleges situated in Punjab below: B tech eligibility: FOR admission in the B tech you have to passed 12th grade with physics, chemistry and mathematics from any well recognized board of education.. And it is also needed that you have to passed an entrance examination JEE with good score.. The Punjab Technical University is authorized by the Dept of Technical Education & Industrial Training to conduct the admissions to undergraduate engineering courses in the state of Punjab. The admission procedure is conducted by Joint Allocation Committee (JAC), Chandigarh. The Punjab Engineering Admission is on the basis of the JEE Main scores and the marks in the class XII in the ration 60:40. Punjab Engineering Admission Participating Institutes: All the private, deemed, Govt, Govt aided and self financing colleges in the state of Punjab and affiliated to the following: • Punjab Technical University • Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar • Punjabi University, Patiala • College of Agricultural Engg. & Tech. of Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana Punjab Engineering Admission Eligibility Criteria: • One need to pass 10+2 from the Punjab State Board or an equivalent recognized board, with at least 50% in aggregate. • One need to appear in JEE Main and scored the qualifying marks • One must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with optional subjects being Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Biology. • One who have passed an Engineering diploma from Punjab State Board of Technical Education or SLIET are also eligible. • One who has passed 2 year certificate course from SLIET is also eligible. Punjab Engineering Admission Selection Procedure: Selection is on the basis of JEE Main and the qualifying exam (Class XII) in the ratio 60:40 85% of the seats are reserved for students from Punjab and the rest 15% of seats are for students from outside Punjab
