As comparing course between B.Ed. Or JBT for teaching in government sector I would like to tell you that JBT is for primary teaching where else BED is for secondary and higher secondary student. Both courses have there own imporatance if you are thinking to go for Primary teaching then JBT is good other wise please go through BED.

Here is the eligibility criteria for BED program.

11+2+2 pattern,

Should have score at least minimum 55 % marks in 10+2+2 or 11+3 pattern

You should study at-least two subjects, to be later taken as the teaching subjects at the bachelor’s degree level with minimum 50% marks.

Any Master degree and Master in commerce,Philosophy, Sociology or Psychology course from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% .

Here is the eligibility criterion for JBT program

The JBT course is for teaching in Primary schools.
The B.Ed is course is for teaching in Secondry/Higher Secondry schools.

If you want teaching jobs in Primary schools then JBT is enough and better for you.

If you want teaching jobs in Secondry schools B.Ed is enough and better for you.

JBT Eligibility:
The Students must have passed their 10+2 examination from a recognized board with at least 50% in aggregate.

The Graduates willing to pursue this course must have cleared their examination with 45% in aggregate.

B.Ed Eligibility:

The applicants should have a Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) form a recognised board/university with at least 50% marks.
