Diploma to degree engineering admission means direct admission in second year of engineering which is also termed as lateral entry.

Diploma to Degree Engineering Admission:

Engineering through lateral entry is referred as pursuing engineering degree after diploma in engineering from the Board of Technical Education Rajasthan. Candidates applying for direct second year engineering admission get enrolled in the 2nd year of their degree; hence they complete their engineering degree in three years.

Eligibility for lateral entry in engineering:
The candidate should have passed diploma with minimum of 45% marks or should have a degree in science (B.Sc) with mathematics as a subject with minimum of 45% marks.
Candidates should have completed their diploma from Board of Technical Education or from institutions approved by AICTE with an eligible percentage recognized by institutions.
