IAS - Indian Administrative Service Exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year.

Eligibility Criteria for IAS - Indian Administrative Service Exam
-You should be a citizen of India.
-Your Age should be in between 21 – 30 years (both inclusive) as on the date mentioned under the UPSC examination notification.
-You must be a graduate from a recognized university or a deemed university.
-You must possesses professional and technical qualification recognized by Government equivalent to the professional and technical degree
-You must possess a degree from an Indian University or an equivalent qualification.
-The upper age limit is also relaxed in favour of certain categories of civil servants working under the Government of India and Defence Services Personnel.
-The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Other Eligibility
You must be either:
-citizen of India, or
-subject of Nepal, or
-subject of Bhutan, or
-Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962 or
-Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
