It is a public university, established in 1965 Faculties Faculty of Agriculture Faculty of Medicine Faculty of Science Faculty of Engineering & Technology Faculty of Law Teaching Faculty Faculty of Arts Faculty of Education Faculty of Commerce & Management M.Phil. Botany Mathematics Microbiology Physics Statistics Zoology Admission requirements for M.Phil Programme: -You should holds minimum second class Master's Degree with 55% or more marks in the subject concerned. Or - You should have passed both Bachelor's Degree and Intermediate examination separately minimum 50 % marks. Or - You must Passed Bachelor's Degree and Intermediate examination with second division separately in each examination but with an aggregate of 55 % marks in the Bachelor's Degree examination.
