Anna University BE or BTech lateral entry?

I completed my 12th STD on 2005-06 academic years from Tamil Nadu State Board, On which I shored 54%.But my 10th score was 68% based on which I got admitted to a reputed Autonomous Government aided polytechnic collage in a three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering program in Mumbai in the year 2006 since my father was a Ex service men and Central Government employee and he was working here since 2004. I complete it only this year2011 with Diploma Passed with condonation and lot of beaks. Can I join B E or B Tech in next academic year through lateral entry in any collage affiliated to Anna University in Tamil Nadu. I have scored 67% in coded subjects in final year Diploma. I Know I can join some collage in Maharashtra But I want to go back and study in Tamil Nadu pleas guide me.

Admission process :

Lateral entry admission
(i) The candidates who possess the Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by
the State Board of Technical Education, Tamilnadu or its equivalent are eligible to
apply for Lateral entry admission to the third semester of B.E. / B.Tech. in the branch corresponding to the branch of study.
Or
The candidates who possess the Degree in Science (B.Sc.,) (10+2+3 stream ) with
Mathematics as a subject at the B.Sc. Level are eligible to apply for Lateral entry
admission to the third semester of B.E. / B.Tech.

STRUCTURE OF PROGRAMMES
Every Programme will have curricula with syllabi consisting of theory and practicals such as:
(i) General core courses comprising mathematics, basic sciences, Engineering sciences, humanities and engineering.
(ii) Core courses of Engineering/Technology.
(iii) Elective courses for specialization in related fields.
(iv) Workshop Practice, Computer Practice, Engineering Graphics, Laboratory work, Industrial training, Seminar presentation, Project work, Educational tours, Camps etc.
(v) NCC / NSS / NSO / YRC activities for character development
