Engineers are designing the future. If you are interested in developing new, innovative technology to improve the quality of the lives of the people and provide solutions to meet the needs of the modern world, then Engineering is for you and for engineering studies; there can be nothing better than the College of Engineering at University of Canterbury according to me!
Here I am providing information about the programs it offers.

Engineering Programmes

It offer nine disciplines in the BE(Hons) degree:

Scholarships for engineering students at the university:

Dr Russell Smith Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Blind or visually impaired
Amount: $3,000

University of Canterbury College of Engineering Mathematics and Statistics STAR Scholarships
Eligibility: Prospective undergraduate Mathematics or Statistics students
Amount: $5,000 per annum

Malaysian Alumni City and Regional Scholarships
Eligibility: Prospective undergraduate students from Malaysia
Amount: $10,000

Canterbury Bright Start Earthquake Scholarships
Eligibility: Full-time students who are NZ citizens or permanent residents
Amount: Tuition fees and compulsory fees

CTEMT Canterbury Bright Start Scholarships
Eligibility: NZ citizen or permanent resident. Hardship. First time at a tertiary institute.
Amount: tuition fee and all compulsory fees

ESR Engineers for Social Responsibility Undergraduate Project Prize
Eligibility: Project on sustainable engineering practices
Amount: $300

Admiral Sir Gordon Tait University Scholarship
Eligibility: Timaru Boys' High School.
Amount: $4,500 per annum

Douglas Myers Scholarship
Eligibility: Undergraduate study at Cambridge University
Amount: Tuition fees, living allowance and return airfare

Girdlers' Scholarship
Eligibility: Intention to study at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge
Amount: GBP£20,000 per annum

Kauri Museum Mervyn Sterling Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: A strong connection to Otamatea
Amount: $8,000

Kitchener Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: For Armed Forces staff or their sons/ daughters to study Forestry, Agriculture or Horticulture.
Amount: $500

KiwiRail/ ONTRACK Undergraduate Scholarship
Eligibility: For sons/daughters of KiwiRail or ONTRACK NZ employees
Amount: $2,000

Peter Windle Scholarship
Eligibility: Intention to study at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge
Amount: Tuition fees, a living allowance and a return economy airfare to England
