I would like to inform you that if you are seeking admission in Boston University’s College of Communication, higher GRE scores will possibly increase your chances for merit scholarships.
The GRE scoring system has been recently updated and is now scored out of a possible 170.
Suggested minimum scores are verbal 158 and quantitative 147.

Snap Profile of COM’s Graduate Programs:

Average GRE:
580 or higher in each category under the previous GRE exam, 158 or higher in the verbal section and a 147 or higher in the quantitative section for the new GRE*

Average GPA:

Most students come from strong liberal arts backgrounds

30% of applicants are international

On average 1000 applications are received, 400 applicants are admitted, 200 attend
