HellSir I want tapply for the Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad PhD Admission splease can you give me the date of admission and provide syllabus of the exam.

The admission for PhD is through PET Examination and as per the University rule.
Seats are allocated as per the available Guides quota.

Reservation of seats for backward classes are as following:-

The BAMU provides admission in PhD through an entrance exam. The university has not issued key dates for it. Shere I am providing you tentative dates:

The application form can be filled only online from third week of March tsecond week of April 2012.

Examination will be held on last week of April 2012

Admission process:


Selection of candidate for Ph.D. will be based on PET
SET/NET/JRF qualified candidates will be exempted from PET
Interview and document verification is mandatory
Merit list of PET qualified candidates will be uploaded by the University
Invitation for interview and submission of Research proposal will be sent via mail
Document verification and payment of programme fee will confirm admission
PhD Eligibility:


Master's degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
At least 55% marks(50% marks for SC/ST) secured in the qualifying examination.
Candidate qualified SET/NET/JRF will be exempted from entrance examination and preference will be given.
