Water Resources Research Institute (WRRI) - New Mexico State University (NMSU) was established in 1963 by the New Mexico legislature and approved under the 1964 federal Water Resources Research Act. It is among one of 54 institutes/centers in the United States and is also a member of the National Institutes for Water Resources and the Powell Consortium.
