Unit-I: Stylistic analysis of the following objects of art:
Pre-historic paintings from Bhim Betka
Ajanta: Padampani Avilokitesvara, Dying Princess
Mughal Paintings of Birds and Animals.
Folk Painting

Unit-II: Indus-Valley Civilization: Metal Dancing Figure from Mohenjodaro,
Seals,
Maurayan Capital Sculptures from Rampurva and Sarnath
Amaravati: The Great Departure
Bharhut Art: Dream of Queen Maya Devi, Mriga, Jataka

Unit-III: Definition of Key terms & General Concepts:
Colour, Line, Shape, Rotundity, Balance, Composition, Perspective,
Mural, Miniature, Relief

Firstly I would like to inform you that students who have passed their10+2 with 50% of marks from a recognised Board are eligible to apply for the course.

Also First year-12th Passed Direct Second year - Students having Passed G.D. Arts, Art Teacher Diploma (A.T.D.) examination can directly take admission to 2nd year of the course
