The eligibility criteria for Admission in B.A., LL.B. (Hons) Program 2019 offered by Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad are as follows:

The eligibility is as per CLAT 2019 Notification which is given below:

1. There will be no upper age limit for UG Programme in CLAT.

2. For minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying exam (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent exam), one must have secured:
i. 45% marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/PWD/ NRI/PIO/OCI categories
ii. 40% marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.

3. One appearing in the qualifying exam in March/April, 2019 is also eligible to appear in CLAT-2019 exam. However, one needs to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying exam at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.

4. The result of the qualifying exam (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by one at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course.


Resident Student of Telangana Category

To be eligible for admission under the Resident Student of Telangana category seats, in addition to complying with the eligibility as per CLAT-2019, one must fulfil the following conditions and must secure appropriate rank in order of merit in CLAT-2019:

For admission to 5-Year B.A., LL.B. (Hons) Courseone who after studying in the State of Telangana for 4 consecutive years appears for the qualifying exam in the same State

(or)

One who has in the previous seven years resided in the State of Telangana for at least a period of 4 years, and completed the qualifying examination, i.e., 10+2 or equivalent from the educational institutions in the State of Telangana.

30% (32 seats) Horizontal reservation are applicable for Female candidates for admission to B.A.,LL.B.(Hons.) course.

05% {05 seats for B.A.,LL.B.(Hons.)} Horizontal reservation are applicable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities.
