Default eligible for applying for NET Exams?

Dear Sir,
I’m a post graduate in agricultural extension and 43 years old.Am i eligible for applying for NET Exams 2011?

If yes, please, tell me where from i can get the syllabus ?

Yes you are eligible for the NET examination as the eligibility for the examination is as following:

Eligibility
The candidate should have completed post graduation in respective subject with minimum 55% marks.

UGC NET Exam will be conducted by NTA to determine the candidate’s eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or for Assistant Professor only posts in Indian Universities and Colleges.

UGC NET June 2020 Exam will only be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT) from 15th June 2020 to 20th June 2020

UGC NET Eligibility

Master’s Degree holders with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved candidates) can register for the exam.

Students in the final year of the master’s program or waiting for its result can also apply for the exam.

Ph.D. degree holders who completed their master’s degree before September 19, 1991 will be given a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks.

Applicants must not be more than 30 years to apply for Junior Research Fellowship.

SC, ST, OBC, PWD, Transgender and Women candidates are given an age relaxation of up to 5 years.

Nature of Questions in UGC NET Exam

The questions in both the papers will be objective in nature.
This means all the questions in UGC NET June 2020 will be of Multiple Choice type (MCQs).
The question will have 4 options, candidates must select the most appropriate answer.

Pattern:

UGC NET Paper No. of Questions Maximum Marks Duration
Paper 1 50 100 A cumulative time duration of 3 hours.
Shift 1: 9.30 AM – 12.30 PM
Shift 2: 2.30 PM – 5.30 PM
Paper 2 100 200
Total 150 MCQs 300 Marks 180 minutes

Extended Online Application and Registration Date 16th March 2020 to 16th May 2020
Downloading of Admit Cards Postponed (Previously 15th May 2020)
UGC NET June 2020 Exam Dates Previously 15th June 2020 to 20th June 2020
(Postponed- Revised dates after assessing situation as on 15th April 2020)
Date for announcing results 5th July 2020 (Tentative)
