The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is a Public Engineering Institution Ie was Established in 1951 by the government of India . This Institute is located in Kharagpur, West Bengal, India .


Eligibility :

All candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. programme shall have to possess 60% marks in the qualifying examination in Engineering/ Science/Commerce/Management or
55% in Humanities or Social Sciences .

Qualified candidates from recognized organizations with consistently good academic background (with or without GATE/NET) may also apply for admission as Sponsored Research Scholars.

Application fee is Rs. 500/- for General/OBC and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates. Women candidates are exempted from the payment of application fees.

Online application forms to be made available from : Midd of September

Website closure for submission of online application form : Midd of October
