You are looking for the Indian Council for Medical Research JRF eligibility i am giving here:

The applicant should have M.Sc, / M.A. or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks for General / OBC Candidates and 50% for the SC / ST & physically handicapped candidates.

The candidates appearing in the final year examination (2013-2014) can also apply.

Age Limit:
The upper age limit for admission to the eligibility test is 28 years as on 30-09-2013 (relaxable up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/ female candidates and 3 years in the case of OBC.

Important dates:
Application forms shall be available from: 30.3.2013

Last Date for Receipt of Application forms: 30.4.2013

As you want I am here providing you the eligibility detail for Indian Council for Medical Research – ICMR JRF Entrance Exam.

Eligibility:

Candidate should pass M.A or M.Sc degree in any of the subjects in life sciences or social sciences.

Candidate should secure minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidates).

Age limit :28 years

Age Relaxations:

For SC/ST and OBC categories in the order of 5 years and 3 years respectively.


Pattern for ICMR JRF Entrance Exam:
Section 1 – Aptitude Section (Compulsory section)

Total number of questions – 50 questions
Total marks – 50 marks

This section includes questions from the following topics –

Common statistics
General knowledge in sciences
Scientific Phenomenon in Everyday Life

Section 2 – Subject Specific Section – This section is further divided in to two parts and includes questions from two subjects sections namely Life Sciences and Social Sciences. Candidates can choose to attempt questions from any of the subject parts.

Part 1 Life Sciences

Total number of questions -100 questions (out of which candidates can attempt any 75 questions)

Bioinformatics
Biophysics
Biotechnology
Botany
Environmental sciences
Genetics
Human biology
Immunology
Microbiology
Molecular biology
Pharmacology
Physiology
Veterinary sciences
Zoology


Part 2 – Social Sciences

Total number of questions -100 questions (out of which candidates can attempt any 75 questions)
